Entry level participants should register for Level I and Level II. Existing utility staff and field employees may choose to register for Level I only.

Level I: Field Readiness – Meter Installation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting (2 days)

• Focus: Physical meters, field safety, installation, repair, and on-site problem solving
• Audience: Newly hired meter technicians, utility/field staff, installers, maintenance crews, individuals looking to join the water industry as meter technicians
• Outcome: Participants are field-ready to safely install, maintain, and troubleshoot meters

Level II: Meter Data and Systems – AMI/AMR, Reading, and Billing Integration (2 days)

• Focus: Data flow, meter reading technologies, system verification, and revenue connection
• Audience: Individuals looking to join the water industry as meter technicians, meter technicians advancing into reading, AMI support, data verification, or cross-functional roles
• Outcome: Participants understand how meter data moves from the field to billing and decision-making systems
